How do I import a .sql file via phpMyAdmin?

Import a SQL file into your database using phpMyAdmin.

Key Steps

  1. Access phpMyAdmin: Log into your hosting account and navigate to the phpMyAdmin tool
  2. Select Database: Choose the target database from the left sidebar
  3. Use Import Function: Click the Import tab at the top of the page
  4. Upload and Execute: Select your SQL file and click Go to complete the import

The .SQL file will be uploaded and imported to the database you've selected. Mandraled's shared hosting includes 1 GB MySQL databases.
