What is Domain Locking?
Registrars use domain locking to prevent unauthorised changes. This status appears in WHOIS lookups as "clientTransferProhibited."
Solution
If your registrar does not give you access to unlock the domain name for transfer, then you should be able to contact them to request this. Once unlocked, you can transfer to Mandraled Hosting.
The 60-Day Transfer Lock
When you register a new domain or transfer one, a 60-day transfer lock applies automatically and cannot be bypassed. This also triggers when updating registrant contact information. The article recommends requesting the transfer first, then updating contacts afterward.
Important Note: The 60-day restriction only applies to Generic TLDs. Country-code domains follow local registry policies that may differ.
