How do I add a DKIM record?

DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) is an email authentication standard that verifies messages originate from claimed senders and haven't been altered during transit. A DKIM signature is placed in the header of emails sent by Mandraled Hosting's mail servers.

Basic Setup Steps

  1. Navigate to Manage Hosting and select the package
  2. Click the DomainKeys icon
  3. Choose your domain
  4. Enter a Selector (any identifier you prefer)
  5. Select Add Signature
  6. If using Mandraled nameservers, the DNS record is added automatically

Advanced Options

  • Selector: Unique identifier for the DKIM record
  • Canonicalization: Choose \"Relaxed\" if emails may be modified in transit; \"Simple\" for standard handling
  • Flags: Select \"Production\" for normal use or \"Testing\" for verification without affecting delivery
