Email forwarding is the operation of re-sending an email message delivered to one email address on to a possibly different email address.
Two Types of Email Forwarding
Individual Email Forwarding: This approach enables creation of an email address without a mailbox or allows forwarding rules applied to existing mailboxes.
Catch-All Email Forwarding: Catch-all forwarding only activates when no existing mailbox or forward exists. It functions as a domain-level mailbox that "catches" messages addressed to non-existent accounts, helping prevent lost emails from spelling mistakes.
